| Happy Veterans Day! Today is Veterans Day. As a son and grandson of veterans and a member of the Mile High Chapter of the GI Forum, I'd like to take a moment to reflect on today and say thank you to all those who have served and sacrificed for our country. Without their sacrifice, our way of life would be drastically different. Presently, we have many brave men and women continuing to fight to preserve our freedom and our way of life. These are our true heroes and we take this day to honor their bravery and patriotism. I hope you will join me in giving to a charity or organization representing veterans issues as a show of appreciation for everything they do and have done for us.
